Hi Natalie,
I just wanted to say thanks for your help organising our booking on Sunday - it was really hard picking somewhere to go in London when I live in Cheltenham! But I'm so glad we found the Marlborough, it's a lovely place and the food was great. The raised area in the conservatory was just perfect.

Hi Natalie,
Just a note to say thanks for sorting my birthday table on Sunday 13th March. The table was perfect, such a sociable size, food was amazing and jaw dropping yorkshire puds...I've had so many people say how nice it was. All the staff were great so I always think it's important to say so. We will be back soon!

Hi Natalie,
This is long overdue, but just wanted to pass on our thanks for a great Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago.
Unfortunately two of our party couldn't make it but the 8 of us had a fantastic day. The staff were very helpful, the food was amazing and we were able to just sit there and enjoy drinks into the evening, without feeling like we had to vacate the table.
We have just moved to the area but will certainly be making regular visits to The Marlborough.

Decent Guinness, a nice selection of wines and ales. The Marlborough is a pub with acres of personality I'm surprised how much I talk about it with my friends, I think I'm even facebook friends with it/her/them..
I moved into the area about 6 months ago and though I've tried to sample all the pubs in the Richmond area, and I've done a pretty good job of it, I find myself keep going back to the Marlborough. Now I automatically arrange to meet people there as it's a great place for conversation and food in a comfortable and cosy setting. Whilst the restaurant retains the character it is more functional and comes with added helpful table service.
You could walk past this place on a summers day and think it's empty, however there is a sizeable back garden and great BBQ all summer long.
For cyclists, sunday drivers et al who are looking for a gem to find on their trip to Richmond / Richmond Park this pub takes a little more to find but is worth the effort.

For me it's a good place, lovely pub, good garden and I think the staff are friendly and it has improved a lot. Also agree food has improved.

This was my first time in Richmond and so to the Marlborough Pub. My husband treated me and we both had the Steak and Ale Pie. Honestly you must visit the Marlborough as this is the best Steak and Ale pie that we have ever had. Big lumps of juicy tender meat and gravy in a superb delicate pastry. Very reasonably priced for the standard of the Food and Pub. Great service also. Complements to the Chef. Thank you for making my day in Richmond perfect.

We stumbled by this pub after a lovely walk in Richmond Park with the family last Sunday and have to say what a lovely surprise. The pub itself is beautifully decorated with open fires and a lovely smell of cooking when you walk in through the door. My husband and I had the lamb shank roast and the children had sausage and mash and mini burger. All though it was very busy the staff were so attentive and friendly. Its great to see somewhere doing something so well. We will differently me back

Me and my girlfriends popped in to this pub on lunch time, and I couldn’t disagree more with the bad comments the guy with the avant garde beard lets call him ming the merceless couldn’t have been nicer he had a great sense of humour and was very helpful, after learning that I had ruptured 2 discs in my back he made me as comfortable as he could and even served us our lunch in the garden which apparently you usually have to collect. The food was great and I liked the pub so much I talked my husband into going back the following Saturday night which happened to have a live band playing I cant remember the bands name but they were brilliant, the atmosphere was great and everyone was enjoying themselves, yes you did have a short wait for a drink but lets face it the reason you go to a busy pub with a great atmosphere is not only for a drink but for the buzz of the place, otherwise just pop along to you local old mans pub that has three customers, a dog and a TV that way you'll get a really fast pint . all the staff were great and adding to the atmosphere and I meet the manageress Natalie who was greet fun and made sure everyone was having a good time. I’m now planning to return on a Tuesday night as that is quiz night and run by Ming, who may think he can defeat the earth but will not defeat the quiz I will dispatch Ajax to bring back his body.
